Talking about this issue is not enough. Doing something about this issue is what matters. As a country, we have not yet learned from our history. Current day abuse of authority and systemic biases that result in profiling and exclusion continue to plague communities of color, particularly black communities.

Use your voice, influence and resources to eliminate barriers that result in a divide in safety and security. We must work to build stronger job, food, transportation and health resources within marginalized communities, and eliminate the likelihood for residents to be victims of crime whether by their neighbors or the police.

We encourage you to explore some of the great work being done in our communities and consider giving your support to organizations like these to help deliver impactful change.
